Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for classes?
You can sign up online by visiting our website and clicking on Schedule. If this is your first time with us, you can click on Sign up next to the class you would like to attend and you will be prompted to register at Mindbody Software and purchase a single or multi-class pack.
I'm a beginner to Yoga. Are your classes good for beginners?
Yes. Both of our current classes are good for both beginners and those more experienced in Yoga. Our teachers are experienced with guiding beginners. Please let the teacher know if this is your first time.

Can I walk-in to take a class?

Yes. We do accept walk-in’s, but some classes do fill up. For best chance, plan to get to class 10-15 minutes early.

Are there gift certificates available?

Yes, you purchase a gift certificate at the studio.

Do I need to bring my own mat to class

You are welcome to bring your own mat, but the studio provides them in addition to props such as straps, blocks, blankets and eye pillows.

Where is the best place to park?
There is ample unrestricted street parking on Opelousas or Elmira street.

Can I rent the space for a private event?
Yes. Please inquire for rates to rent the studio.

When will you be offering more class times?

We are a new studio and committed to adding additional classes as soon as we can. We want to respond to the needs of our community. Please email us and let us know your preferences for class times.

I’m a teacher. Can I teach a class in your space?

We are looking for teachers in the healing arts space to lead classes in mindfulness, meditation, energy work, spirituality and other healing arts modalities. Please send us more information on your background and what you’d like to teach.

How early should I arrive to class?
Please come 10-15 minutes early to class to check in, set up your yoga space, change and unwind. This will also be less disturbing to others and yourself than a last-minute arrival.

What should I do once I arrive?
First check-in with the teacher or studio manager at the Studio. They will show you where you can place your shoes and bag. Please be sure to tell the teacher if you are new, if you have specific injuries, conditions, concerns, or if you are pregnant.

What if I am late for class?
If you are pre-registered but not here when the class begins, there is a chance your spot will be given to a walk-in participant. If there is still space and you are late, please quietly enter, and if the teacher has already begun find a place to get set up with your mat. You will then need to check in at the front desk after class is over to take care of the check-in process.

What if I need to leave early?
If you find that you need to leave early, please let your teacher know before class and be prepared by keeping your things organized and setting yourself up closest to the door. We ask that you do not leave during the final meditation process so as not to disturb the other attendees.

What is the studio cancellation policy?
For classes, if you sign up online and send a cancellation notice within 1 hour of the class time, you are NOT charged. You are only charged if you appear in person. Classes are non-refundable but your payment can be transferred to another class.

Where should I put my things (i.e. purse, shoes, jacket, etc)?
Please turn off your cellphone before you enter the classroom. The teacher or studio manager will show you where you can place your shoes, bags and jackets.
